An official sequel to the classic Mega Man series, Mega Man 9 (yes, nine!) is coming to WiiWare! The bosses are set include a Magma Man, Galaxy Man, Jewel Man, Concrete Man, Hornet Man, Plug Man, Tornado Man, and possibly a Splash Woman.

Midway has announced they will be having a dedicated panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con to the Making of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Featuring MK creator Ed Boon and DC Comics collaborator Jimmy Palmiotti, the panel will discuss the crossover, show off “never before seen gameplay,” and unveil “key characters.” The special panel is set to happen on Friday, July 25th.

Capcom recently announced that their upcoming Street Fighter IV will see a release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft and Windows based PCs. The granddaddy of the genre is finally back! The arcade release is still scheduled for July of this year with the console release date showing up on GameStop’s site as February 2009. Looks like we still have quite some time to wait!
