Dragon Quest IV English Site Now Open May 21st, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The English site for Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the Nintendo DS is now open. It’s pretty bare-bone for now but unveils the release date to be Sept 16th, 2008. On top of that, the game’s portal site also shows a “Coming Soon” for both Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest VI!

Wii Fit Launches Today! May 21st, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Nintendo’s Wii Fit for the Nintendo Wii launches today across North America. The bundle, priced at $89.99, includes the Wii Balance Board and the Wii Fit game itself. We Ski from Namco Bandai, among the first games to make use of the Wii Balance Board, is also available at $29.99.

Konami Announces Rock Revolution May 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Konami announces their entry into the multiple instrument music genre, Rock Revolution. Like the other games on the market, this game will allow for drums, bass, and lead guitar. Pokemon Platinum Officially Announced May 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

A new Pokemon has been officially announced, Pokemon Platinum. Rather than a full on new Pokemon adventure, Platinum will be an enhanced remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. The new game is slated for a Fall 2008 release.

Guitar Hero IV Drums Image Surfaces May 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

A post found on the Destructoid blogs reveals an image from the June 2008 issue of Game Informer Magazine of the drum set for Guitar Hero IV.  The set is said to include three pads, a step pedal, as well as two dedicated cymbol pads.

DBZ: Burst Limit Demo and Pre-Order Bonuses May 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

According to the Atari Community Site, a demo for Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit will be up for download soon for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 video game systems. Keep an eye out on each system’s respective stores. On top of that, Atari is having GameStop exclusive pre-order bonuses for each version of the game. The PS3 version includes a Blu-ray featuring the DBZ movie DEAD ZONE while the Xbox 360 version includes a DVD featuring DBZ Season 1 Eps 1-7. Both versions will also include a free DBZ: Burst Limit T-Shirt. The game is set to release on June 10.

Resistance 2: 8-Man Co-Op, 60-Man Multiplayer May 6th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The latest updates from the Sony PlayStation Day Conference includes news on the upcoming Resistance 2 for PLAYSTATION 3. The game will feature an eight-player co-op which will have its own story, characters, and rewards while multiplayer will support up to a whopping SIXTY players whom will be split into squads for mammoth fights, making the game “feel more personal and filled with skirmishes instead of giant, faceless wars.”

Rock Band Track Pack For WII/PS2 May 5th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Harmonix has announced an Expansion Disc for Rock Band for the Wii and PS2. Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 will feature 20 tracks, previously released as downloadable content for the PS3 and X360 versions of the game, which will now be playable on the “harddrive”-less consoles.
