Guitar Hero Widget Mini-Game April 30th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Activision has released a widget mini-game version of their popular Guitar Hero III. Using your keyboard, you can rock out to three songs: “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour, “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper, and “Metal Heavy Lady” by Lions.

Summon Night, Spectral Force Release Dates April 29th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Atlus today announced new release dates for two upcoming titles, Summon Night: Twin Age and Spectral Force 3. Summon Night: Twin Age, the fully stylus-driven action RPG for Nintendo DS, is now scheduled for release on June 3rd. Spectral Force 3, a fantasy strategy RPG for the Xbox 360 system, is now slated for release on July 29th.

TAC PS2 To PS3 Converter April 28th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The Ant Commandos (TAC) have announced the release of their Universal PS2 to PS3 Converter.  Advertised to let wired PS2 guitar controllers work with the PS3 versions of both Guitar Hero 3 AND Rock Band, it also allows Hammer Ons and Pull Offs to actually work! Metal Gear Online Beta Postponed April 21st, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Due to the mass amount of traffic over the weekend, Konami has been unable to run the service to the level they wanted. As a temporary measure, they plan to stabilize their JPN servers first before letting it loose on the rest of the world. Expected new start date is now Friday, April 25th.

GH Aerosmith Bundle Contents April 16th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

“Preordering Guitar Hero: Aerosmith entitles you to a special, limited edition bundle of the game, featuring the game itself, Aerosmith tour book, guitar, and an exclusive Aerosmith faceplate for said guitar. New Siren Game Coming To PS3 April 16th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Famitsu has revealed a new Siren game is coming out soon for the PS3. The game is already 90% done and will see a July 24th retail release, with demo release on April 24th.  Word is that it’ll comprise of 12 episodes, and is a remake of the original. iPhone Connectivity With PS3 April 11th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

iPhone and iPod touch are soon to recieve a new BD Touch application that lets them interact with Blu-ray players. Japan Gets White GC Controllers April 10th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Nintendo of Japan will be releasing GameCube controllers in a new white color, conveniently matching the Wii’s white console. Retailing for about 2000Yen (~$20 USD), the new controllers will be coming out later this month.
