In Tatsuhiko Takimoto’s Welcome to the NHK, the hapless protagonist is given the task of creating the plot of a new pornographic video game. What he ultimately develops is a battle-robot maid who terminally ill, blind and paralyzed maid-robot who was a lover of the game’s main character in a past life. The end result is an epic-level knock against the ludicrously convoluted plotlines that are so common in Japanese H-games.
