Region-Free UMDs? January 26th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The new MTV UMDs have been spotted to be carrying an “ALL” region label instead of the usual region number. Could this mean Sony is opting to make future releases also region free? If so, this is good news for those that bought imported PSPs and suffered because of region coded UMDs.

New MTV UMDs January 25th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The official PlayStation Blog announced a new marketing plan for UMDs at $14.99 each. Among the first are MTV titles Jackass, Wildboyz, Viva La Bam, Beavis & Butthead, and Aeon Flux.
