Rock Band 2 Now Available September 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Rock Band 2 is now available for the Xbox 360 as stand-alone disc with new instruments sold seperately. The full on Rock Band 2 Special Edition Bundle for Xbox 360 will be available one month after when the PS3 version and its bundle arrives on October 19th.

PS3 Rock Band Patch; GHIII Controller! September 7th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

PS3 Rock Band owners will be recieving a patch this Thursday that will allow them to export Rock Band 1 songs  to their hard drive in advance for Rock Band 2!  The other big news is that this patch will allow the Guitar Hero III Les Paul Guitar controller to finally work with Rock Band!

Konami Sues Harmonix For Rock Band July 11th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Konami is suing Harmonix over the violation of patents, issued in 2002 and 2003, that relate to simulated musical instruments, a music-game system, and a “musical-rhythm matching game.” Konami is asking for cash compensation and an order to block use of such inventions.

Rock Band Track Pack For WII/PS2 May 5th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Harmonix has announced an Expansion Disc for Rock Band for the Wii and PS2. Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 will feature 20 tracks, previously released as downloadable content for the PS3 and X360 versions of the game, which will now be playable on the “harddrive”-less consoles.

TAC PS2 To PS3 Converter April 28th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The Ant Commandos (TAC) have announced the release of their Universal PS2 to PS3 Converter.  Advertised to let wired PS2 guitar controllers work with the PS3 versions of both Guitar Hero 3 AND Rock Band, it also allows Hammer Ons and Pull Offs to actually work! Rock Band Instruments Coming Soon January 24th, 2008 Nate Aguilera
