The HD-DVD add-on for the Xbox 360 is now officially priced at $129.99 (previously $199.99). Perhaps this price drop will help keep the format competitive for a bit before it officially dies away.

PS3 Price Drop After E3! July 5th, 2007 Mark Julio

Sony is pulling the trigger and cutting the price of the PLAYSTATION 3 in North America!  Sony is expected to make the official announcement at next week’s E3 Media Expo.  Slated to start on the 15th of this month, the 60GB PS3 console will be $100 cheaper in the USA and $150 cheaper for Canadian residents.  Early sales ads for next week have also confirmed a PS3 price drop for retailers like Circuit City and Best Buy.  Expect the official announcement soon!
