Dragon Quest IV English Site Now Open

The English site for Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the Nintendo DS is now open. It’s pretty bare-bone for now but unveils the release date to be Sept 16th, 2008. On top of that, the game’s portal site also shows a “Coming Soon” for both Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest VI!

Pokemon Platinum Officially Announced

A new Pokemon has been officially announced, Pokemon Platinum. Rather than a full on new Pokemon adventure, Platinum will be an enhanced remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. The new game is slated for a Fall 2008 release.

Summon Night, Spectral Force Release Dates

Atlus today announced new release dates for two upcoming titles, Summon Night: Twin Age and Spectral Force 3. Summon Night: Twin Age, the fully stylus-driven action RPG for Nintendo DS, is now scheduled for release on June 3rd. Spectral Force 3, a fantasy strategy RPG for the Xbox 360 system, is now slated for release on July 29th.

After the success of the Final Fantasy III DS re-make released last year, Square Enix is looking to re-make more of the classic series for the massively popular handheld. As part of the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy IV is going to be the next game to get that treatment. Our buddies at Aksys Games was happy to share with us the official US Box Art for their upcoming Hoshigami Remix title for the Nintendo DS. So far, the game very pretty for a DS game and its definitely not just a random port from the PS1.
