Microsoft announced on Tuesday that the voice of its next-generation console, Mr. Peter Moore, has officially resigned from his position and will be leaving to work for Electronic Arts after a transition period set to end in August.
The announcement comes as a shock to the industry, and many analysts are already discussing what this could mean for Microsoft’s business strategy. Many believe that this will negatively impact Microsoft’s image in the eyes of its core audience and fans. Moore was widely recognized as the voice of Microsoft’s next-generation system, and his charismatic and friendly attitude to public and consumer relations did much to project the corporation’s enormous multi-billion dollar hardware endeavor in a light that was approachable and sympathetic to gamers everywhere.
Moore is due to be replaced by Don Mattrick, a former EA Executive who was in charge of EA’s World Wide Studios.

Tomorrow, begins the mighty E3 coverage. We’re gonna try to bring you the latest and greatest just like everyone else does, except, we’re gonna skip all the crappy games and just get right to what we all think will definitely gives us the tingle down our spine. However, we will start the E3 week, with all 3 conferences. Though, we won’t have live feed here, we’ll do our coverage, play by play, in our own words. So check back tomorrow at 8:30pm when the madness begins with Microsoft Press Conference! Microsoft promised us milk and cookies if we showed up so, they better have milk and cookies! We’ll have pictures to go along with the madness as well…
