PS3 Rock Band Patch; GHIII Controller! September 7th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

PS3 Rock Band owners will be recieving a patch this Thursday that will allow them to export Rock Band 1 songs  to their hard drive in advance for Rock Band 2!  The other big news is that this patch will allow the Guitar Hero III Les Paul Guitar controller to finally work with Rock Band!

Top Gun Theme Free DLC for GH3 July 1st, 2008 Nate Aguilera

Celebrating the 4th of July, Activision will be releasing the “Top Gun Anthem” theme as a free download for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock! The free track will be available on both the Xbox Live and PLAYSTATION Stores beginning this Thursday, July 3rd.

Guitar Hero IV Drums Image Surfaces May 15th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

A post found on the Destructoid blogs reveals an image from the June 2008 issue of Game Informer Magazine of the drum set for Guitar Hero IV.  The set is said to include three pads, a step pedal, as well as two dedicated cymbol pads.

Guitar Hero IV Details? May 13th, 2008 Nate Aguilera

The June 2008 issue of Game Informer Magazine mentions details of an upcoming Guitar Hero IV. Some of these details include the bringing in of extra instruments, the ability to create a song, and that songs in-game would be master tracks (no covers).

The Ant Commandos just dropped off their latest product to us, a PS2 to PS3 converter! While mainly marketed for use with guitar controllers and use with Rock Band & Guitar Hero III, we couldn’t help to test it out with Tekken and our weapons of choice… You know how much we love our arcade sticks, so we were itchin’ to test this new converter out with all of our games and arcade sticks!
