Activision has revealed a list of tracks that will be included in Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS. The list so far comprises of 15 songs, with another ten more still to be revealed.

Activision has released a widget mini-game version of their popular Guitar Hero III. Using your keyboard, you can rock out to three songs: “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour, “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper, and “Metal Heavy Lady” by Lions.

The Ant Commandos (TAC) have announced the release of their Universal PS2 to PS3 Converter. Advertised to let wired PS2 guitar controllers work with the PS3 versions of both Guitar Hero 3 AND Rock Band, it also allows Hammer Ons and Pull Offs to actually work! In an attempt to bring the producers and the end-users closer together, Harmonix, infamous creators of the Guitar Hero series, has posted a small questionnaire on their official website allowing players to suggest songs for their upcoming co-op musical rhythm game Rock Band.
Harmonix has not specified the degree to which user input will affect the final song list, or whether it has secured any contracts with specific music labels in order to better facilitate and meet consumer demand. However, given the immense popularity that the game has garnered over its last two installments it shouldn’t be difficult for the ground-breaking developer to bring dollar-signs to the eyes of any prospective sponsor.
