Midway has announced they will be having a dedicated panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con to the Making of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Featuring MK creator Ed Boon and DC Comics collaborator Jimmy Palmiotti, the panel will discuss the crossover, show off “never before seen gameplay,” and unveil “key characters.” The special panel is set to happen on Friday, July 25th.

So we just came back from D3 Publisher / Tomy party at Comic Con. Had some good laughs and played some dope games. Gotta give it up to D3 for coming up with Naruto party and then name some of their alcohol drinks to Naruto Chakra Boost. Either way, the event was a blast and we were handed some new images to their upcoming Naruto Wii title. Looks to be a blast, we’ll be previewing it in our Sept issue of High Score Magazine…Meantime, Hit the jump to check out the new images and footage, showcasing how to fight like a “Naruto”.

Square Enix will showcasing various hit titles from Square Enix library at the convention. Not only will you get a chance to actually read these popular manga titles in English, you will also see some of the titles in their original Japanese format, as well as in rare European format. You will also see artwork from these hit comic series on display at the Square Enix booth. The artwork has been scanned in high resolution and reproduced identical to the original so you can see even the touch and texture of each pen stroke.
For the treasure hunters, something special has been planned.

Yu-Gi-Oh! World Finals At SDCCJuly 2nd, 2007Nate Aguilera |

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced details of the United States Championship of the official 2007 Yu–Gi–Oh! video game tournament. Eight players selected from a nationwide online contest will compete at the Comic-Con International Consumer Expo in San Diego Calif. on July 28th for the U.S. title. The top four duelists from the U.S. tournament will advance to the Yu–Gi–Oh! World Finals, also at San Diego Comic Con on July 29th for a chance to compete against the best players from around the globe and a shot at being crowned World Champion.
